Welcome to scriptDance, home of freelance designer, Mark Davis (also known by the online psuedo-names: “Makdaddymizark,” “Mizzy Mak,” and “themizarkshow” for those of you long time followers of my online handiwork).
The sites which I have recently built and am currently maintaining, are listed on the Portfolio page. Each of these sites is made to fit the needs of that individual (or group) and therefore some are more complex than others. In the past, I have worked completely on my own, have assisted with others sites/work, and was employed as a web-designer at William Jewell College to build their departmental websites between the years of 2006 and 2009.
The scripts which I have used for most of these projects are: HTML, XHTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, and PHP. I primarily use WordPress so that their owners can have more control over the content and take over the basic site updates once I am done with the setup, design, and layout. I also use Adobe’s Creative Suite’s for photo, flash, audio, and video editing.
More recently I have also taken up some basic graphic design projects, with a few logo’s and print-media projects in the pipeline. For these, I generally use the Adobe Creative Suite and traditional art supplies to meet the clients needs. I also do some basic troubleshooting and setup on computers and various other technology for people who live in the Kansas City area.
Prices fluctuate with each project based on the time needed, amount of work requested, and the code/design elements needed to complete them. Although I don’t generally give flat-rates, the breakdown of my pricing is found within the Services page.
Thanks for checking out my sites and services, and hope that I can be of service to you in the near future. If you wish to contact me about the sites I’ve made, or about having one built, head over to the Contact page for ways to get in touch with me.
